Meet Ruth Hoskins FNP-C

With many years of experience, Ms. Hoskins is loved by all her patients due to her caring nature. She was born in Southern Ohio, the youngest of five children, and the only girl. She always wanted to be in the medical field. She accumulated many years of experience working in a skilled nursing facility, as a supervisor and then as a wound care specialist. She then went on to Home Health care and ICU. After she obtained a degree in Wound Care, Ostomy and Continence (WOC) from Metropolitan University, in Minnesota, she received education to become a lymphedema management specialist, covering three hospitals. She has a Masters as a Nurse Practitioner from the University of Phoenix, and she's called “Dr. Ruth” by many of her patients and continues to practice with the same fervor. She loves educating patients and believes that it's always gratifying to see concrete outcomes to her interventions.
